my blue tit babies have gone

We noticed one baby poking it,s little head out earlier today. But we had to go out and we thought we would miss them actually leaving the nest. But when we got back they were still scrutinising the big big outside.
And then they started fluttering out, landing on the clematis, perching on the fence, falling through the bamboo,With both parents chattering at them.
But we only counted four, and both parents have been back to the nest, checking I presume,Do they return to the nest to sleep? I have no idea, does anyone else know?
It was a privalige,to be able watch them building and then he was feeding her when she was sitting and now to watch them leave

Blue tits have very large families (10-12 not uncommon) and when you see the youngsters all gorgeous and neat and brand new-looking, it's easy to spot the parents! Feathers in all directions, they look absolutely knackered!
Yesterday, the goldfinches nesting outside my front door had a fun time keeping up with their brood as they left the nest for the first time.

It is so enjoyable to watch the birds build their nests and then the process of feeding. I always hate to see them go myself. Yesterday a pair of robbins were on the lawn of my front garden with their three babies. They were still feeding them and today there are no signs of them. I hope the parents are getting a good rest as they must have been exhausted with the continuous trips back and forth feeding the little ones.
