Baby bird

Hi I have this young fledgling bird in my garden, and I mean literally, he (or she) would rather run around the ground than fly, I thought it to be a thrush but am not totally sure, it eats, and drinks all day, and at goes behind the trellis when it gets a bit anxious. theres a picture of it in my pics, if anyone can confirm what it is that would be great

Thanks, I did think it wasnt a thrush, but half hoped it was. I did look on the net for pics but found this site and joined up, Its great to speak to like minded people :-) been in my tiny garden all weekend

yes, and I think maybe a sibling? Its lovely, chukking all the time, then scrambles behind the trellis in the ivy, but today i threw an apple core down and it scoffed the lot, it has regular drinks from my water feature

Be carefull not scare off the parants as they'll probably be feeding him still. What a lovely companion for you though!

I think it's a juvenile Blackbird. If you Google that, there's a pic almost the same as your first pic.
