Hi,
I live in a terraced house in Chester le Street, County Durham,married with two children and two gorgeous grandchildren. The front garden is a typical strip about 1.5 metres deep and 4 metres wide. I also have a back yard so I make use of that with troughs and pots with obelisks in which I grow clematis and annuals. We also have a back garden which consists of a patio with borders along all four sides,unfortunately to access it you have to cross the back lane go through garage and out to garden which means a lot of keys and alarms to disable before you get there and you have to remember take everything you need or you have to repeat the process, however it does mean it is very private even if I don't get the pleasure of seeing it from the house. Consequentially it is mainly used late spring and summer so the planting has to reflect that.
