Sunday Evening

I spent the day cleaning up the backyard and cleaning the patio. It was perfect temperature, hardly any wind (a rarity for here), and boy do I have spring fever!
It was so pretty out, that I even power washed the bay windows overlooking my covered patio. I’m getting it ready to be covered in potted plants and hanging baskets. My potted roses have taken off and I bet I’ll have buds all over them soon! My beautiful laceleaf maple is covered in tiny buds that are burgeoning toward lacy, new, leaves. I CAN"T WAIT!!!!!
Greylady, thank you for the invite to this wonderful networking site!

Hi , Welcome to GoY.
I know that excited feeling. I've got it right now - just been down the garden and found even more things recovering from the winter.
I like the idea of things in pots on a patio. It must be lovely there with you when everything is in bloom. Can't wait for you to show us some photos.
All the best, Hywel

Yes, Spring. A great time and we get so excited no matter how many springs we've seen. Lovely blog. Look forward to seeing some photos of your roses and the Maple, perhaps!
