at last the garden's tidy again

well, I guess I still haven’t got the hang of this website, I just wrote my blog, clicked publish and it did the same as last time, it came up a blank page inviting me to write my blog! So, at the risk of repeating myself, I have just cleared a large trailer full of rubbish and weeds from the garden and am feeling very pleased with myself, as this year due to drought, the weeds have not been growing up behind me as I worked. Does anyone know of bush or flower that would look good all summer that I could grow in a shady, dry spot?

How about 'Rose of Sharon' ... Hypericum calycinum ... that's if you're looking for something yellow! . . . .

Hi countrydweller,
Sometimes that happens to me too, but I think that I just forget to click the green button!
Perhaps an Aucuba might work...happy in dry shade and looks good all year round....
