new look web site

I can't find it either. As I've said I think I'll get used to the new layout, but the icy blue is sooo depressing :o(( Not such a friendly look as before I'm afraid (Not that they'll do anything about it lol )

There are big arrows over the right side... to move on or back one photo.

Many members have voted for the light green backgrounds to return... see recent comments on Ajay's blog...

I'm sure if enough people explain they don't like the blue and white, then a change will be considered. I prefer the light green...

lol hywel, im ok with it but dont mind on colour, whatever suits all ;o)

I like the bigger print on white,but not the blue background,...too bright and distracting for me,and much prefer the softer green.This morning I wanted to finish a blog with pics,I had saved from yesterday,but although I managed,I found it quite confusing.When I wanted to see it as it would look when published,as I added blog and pics,I clicked on' save and preview',but all I kept getting was the draft,and I had no idea how the finished article would look,so had to click on 'publish'and hope for the best.Where did I go wrong? Luckily,it looked ok,but I had missed one pic.

I like the larger print means i only need my Specs, i can throw the Magnifying glass away LOL.
Second thoughts i will keep it for when my eyesight deteriorates further.
I don't much like the Blue.

ermmm mixed feelings then ,think i like the gree too. the colour of gardens lol. like the big writeing ,i can see it lol. found the arrows ..................lol hywel they were that big i missed em tooo haha surposed will get used to it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think thats what I mean Terra,..I have always been able to look at the pics as well as the blog...just as it would look when published.

That's really put me off doing another blog Bloomer, I liked seeing the complete layout...

Don't let it put you off Annella,it might be me that didn't understand it.I did half my blog last night,and as it was late,decided to save it,and finish it this morning.It took me so long,I wish I had stayed up longer to do it,as I had forgotten about the change in format.

I've just made a test blog with a photo which was already on GoY... a pic of my houseleeks... and when I saved the blog, I could see the photo.

I'll now go back and try another test with a NEW photo ( not one already on GoY ) and I'll let you know how I get on ...

I just tried including a new pic. in my draft blog, and when I pressed Save and Preview, I could see the actual photo in the draft.
Does that help you Bloomer/Annella ?

Hi Bloomer, I had this problem this morning on a half finished blog but now it is OK, showing the preview and photos.

oh dear well this has got you all going i only had trob looking 4 the next photo lol

There was a problem with adding photos and then previewing blogs - perhaps it has now been sorted out

Thanks Tt and lily..Glad it was probably just a bit of a blip,so hopefully ,all will be ok next time I try. sorry,I have only just seen your comments..tooo much going on elsewhere on other blogs,I forgot about this one.Lol.So glad we are back to green,and hopefully,all will be back to a happy ending to please most members.I have had enough of this anger,but can well understand the frustration,as it has affected members in different ways... let harmony prevail,and we get back to the good times..:o))

One thing I'm finding with the bigger print - I feel I'm being shouted at all the time. Does anyone else feel this way?

Andrew you can alter the text size, go toolbar, click on Tools, click on Accessibility, tick the box which says ignore text size and then go to toolbar, page and change it to smaller or whichever you wish. hope this helps
