sitting here in the garden in the sun after a chilly start. had a surprize viset from my frend in stoke on trent ,she was working in m/c to day. she got here b 4 i fin work and i found here walking round the garden taking pics of every thing . she was surprized how diffrent it all looked,( not seen her 18 months ) ANY WAY HAD LUNCH and bit of a chat ,hugs and x then she had to go, shame lol!!! moved 2 rose bushes, or rather made mike do it lol even tho he wanted to go bed< he works nite at m/c airport fitting carpets on planes, > so now hes missing all the sunshine snoring in bed. me an rosie are chilllaxing on the patio . have to work again at 6 so am making the most of it ,its really hot. cked my pashion flower and seems ok even grown a bit , as mike said it was fosty this morn and he was scaping ice of the car. rosie got out again this pm so we r going to have to live in forknots lolhow r u surpossed to keep a collie x in , never had this wth charlie dog . shall i get a long chain? lol. only joking . happy days

its lovely when friends pop over. even better when they notice the work done in the garden.
nights arent any fun are they. I had 20 yrs of tiptoe-ing about while he slept listlessly upstairs. Thankfully he is on permanent days now.

Talk about working nights -took me back to when I was about 14/15 - Dad had worked a long shift (in the Royal Navy) had come home for some sleep when mum thought she could hoover quick before he went off to sleep! Yes I can still see his face when he came into my bedroom opened the window and chucked the hoover out (it was an old fashioned small metal one!) and it bounced down the path!!! He had to get her another one but at the time I darent laugh but I can now at seeing this hoover flying down the path - Mum never hooved when he was on a long shift again!!!
