Bits and bobs

We were in town today, Morrison had more of the shrubs I bought last week, so we now have enough to put in a mixed hedge by the piece of fence in the garden. It’s to stop any one trying to get over the wire fence from next doors garden. We hope to get them planted this week, give them time to settle in
I also picked up a cistus and another lavetera, different colour to the one we already have. A primula and aubretia also jumped into the basket.
The lavender we planted last year is at last showing signs of life. OH has threatened a few times to dig it out. It lines the path from the front gate.
It started off wet, but by teatime the sun was out, wind still bitter though and very strong gusts.
The banks on the road side were full of daffodils, one bank was covered with wild primroses, very pretty.

Morrisons sometimes have very nice plants. Your mixed hedge should look nice :)

You'll soon have that garden filled up Csarina, its a mixture here, windy, cold but sunny with very dark clouds threatening to chuck more rain at us, I have so far resisted buying any of the new shrubs, telling myself to be good this year....
