Here’s just a few photos of the garden/ pond area today.. New leaves and buds are coming in on all of the plants now on a near daily basis.. The waterlilies are begining to gradually send a few pads to their pots. And the water hawthorns are both doing well too. The one water hawthorn that I bought online has sent its first very tiny leaf up to the surface. Hard to believe parts of the pond are three feet deep, doesn’t look it at all today with how clear it is.
And finally a photo of the new leaf on the water hawthorn I bought online as a bare rooted plant (must be doing something right)

Yes of course Gerardine! They are from wickes! They were £2.25 at the time :) very light weight to move around!!

Thankyou! I'm gradually trying to add more and more plants of interest and colour for the earlier and later parts of the year so it looks less bare..

Thankyou! It takes a lot of work to keep it that clear :) but the plants help to keep it balanced

Your pond looks really great and healthy.
I have planted the plants I bought the other day and the frogs have returned & laid their spawn on the just planted grass. Your fish seem very happy & healthy too.
I will be pleased when I can introduce fish to my pond.
