getting over a 6 – 0 thumping at footy, still blues won!!!!!!
sewed grass seed in an area where the vedge patch used to be. the back of the seeded area is now a rose border with 4 standards (deep secret and blessings).
tried my hand at leeks again ! the 3rd. time. 2 short rows. now pray.
the pond is slowly clearing. a heron cleaned me out over the winter so it is going to be purely ornamental. going to a garden centre tuesday or thursday.

Oh, good luck with the leeks, shall have to try that one day!

Naughty heron and poor fish! Metal webbing always seems to spoil the look of a pond, doesn't it?

Every cloud and all that! At least you can get some nice plants for the pond. I've just bought a pink water lily and can't wait to see it grow!

No idea about the blues.......I could sing the blues.....there'll be blue skies over the white cliffs of Dover.....I'm feeling blue.....5 foot 2, eyes of blue....over the ocean blue.......you can argue until you're blue in the face.... :o)
