thanks everybody. when we got up this morning we knew that all was not well with charlie.
she just about crossed the road when going for walkies and immediately wanted to come back home. while she ate her breakfast angie and i knew that her time had come. sitting there watching her struggling to scratch her ear was painful. it was an effort for her to get up and walk across the room
some time ago the vet said to us that she will let you know when it is time to go and i feel she did. after a consultation with her vet he came down shortly before 1pm this afternoon.
after goiing for a wee and a poo and having a slice of turkey in gravy we kissed her good-bye at ten past.
it has been a horrible afternoon and i am struggling to write this, but in time we will live with the happy times we spent together and the fond memories we have of her even if at the moment our thoughts are clouded with tears.
