No need to search the Internet
Or satellite on the wing,
We have a gardener par excellence
They call him Pumpkin King.
The finest tenant’s here in town
Upon the Scott Road field,
He concentrates on just one plant,
A mammoth crop to yield.
Theres Pumpkin Pie, and Pumpkin Jam,
And Pumpkin Pickle too,
His plots adorned from end to end
With fruit of golden hue.
And so the summer goes too soon,
Autumns here, the shows begin,
His entry comes by JCB,
The heaviest one will win.
So Ketterings now a famous town,
As proud as it can be,
For we have what others lack,
A Royal family.
(He was delighted with this.)
