These words could apply to all our gardens.............

(from ‘The Country of White Clover’)
One of H.E.Bates wonderful evocations of country life, this is a celebration of joy in earth, air and sun, of delight in the loveliness of seasonal changes, as experienced by the mind, the heart and the senses.
It abounds in deep and pungent thought on country ways,
an abiding love of the French countryside, and in sensuous delight in all that places country life among the richest of experiences.
( Our own gardens are the richest of experiences.
We are so lucky.)

Thank you Paul. In your own way, taking photographs that you put onto this website also enriches all our lives.
Particularly people, like me, who cannot travel far now.
