For those with a pond with fish I have just been told about giving them an orange. Could not believe it when I put the first quarter in the fish all started swimming around and soon all that was left was peel am I the last to try this or have any of you given your fish fruit or perhaps mine are missing out on other delights! I have a mixture of koi, goldfish and orf.

From time to time my memory lets me down
and it happened again today.
I couldn't remember when to start feeding the fish in the pond again, I knew it depended on the temperature outside but what should it be? Were the fish trying to tell me something by appearing near the surface?
So I made a search on GoY and found the answer among Grenville's posts .... consistantly10C and above ... thanks Grenville..
But while searching I came across this blog again, an intriguing one which I had forgotten.
DOES anyone feed their fish oranges or any other fruit? Is it good for them? Why?
