I looked out my window yesterday and there on my lawn was a strange looking piece of earth. I got dressed went out and looked, it did not look like a mole hill nor ants. On closer inspection it moved, then I realised it was a mole! Not the first I have had. I went and got my hand fork and waited, when the earth started to move I shoved the fork into the ground and flipped the mole up into the air. I called my husband whilst trying to hang onto it, finally dropping onto the ground and grabbing it by the back. He came out with a bag and was walking the mole in the bag down the lane in front of our house to release it. When he looked in the bag no mole, so we now await “hills” to appear on the green in front of the house. I did the same with a mole last year but it took 3 days before I caught that one and released it along with 3 grass snakes into the local woods!

That is unusual Moles dont usually come to the top willingly!
The one that got away. They are nippy little critters. Now you see him and
now you dont.......unless he comes out in another part of the garden

Did you ever see the Jasper Carrot programme many years ago where he was acting out shooting moles, it was hilarious. I think you should be on a comedy programme too :0)
