Retired three years,live near Manchester, small garden at rear of house for veg, small greenhouse(first year this year) and small garden at font which is predominately populated with daliahs.
Since the garden is not very large and to a great extent the available area is taken up with the green house and fish pond I tend to gow what I can in containers.
I am very keen but do not profess to have a lot of horticultural knowledge.
