I would just Like to say every one a big thank you to everyone who is knitting the chickens jumpers, But I would like to share with you all what Sewingkilla has been doing to help And I found this so funny . But it also made so much sense. Bless her heart. She has been using a frozen chicken for measurments for the jumers she is kniting I think that is great What do you all think . Hats of to her. Well done

Are you making chicken jumpers for ex battery hens Donnah? I saw an item on TV re this subject, an activity for folk in a retirement home in Suffolk.

Well I think that was a brilliant idea. And who better to need a jumper than a frozen chicken!! LOL. No, really, I think that shows great inventiveness. Perhaps we should have sewingK knitting wellie warmers for the WWOlympics.

Im haveing Probs Donna & i am unable to get the Hang of the Jumper Pattern SORRY :( Sadly Im not the worlds best Knitter :( I hope ul get all the Jumpers youl need from The Other Wondeful GOY Members who are helping u as im unable to help u :/

Last night there was an item on radio Humberside about about someone in Norfolk knitting jumpers for chickens.Just thought you would like to know the news seems to be spreading fast.They also gave the website for the pattern.Hopefully there will be tons of woollies 'winging' their way to Norfolk :)
