Hi, I'm Geoff and I live near the Sussex coast. I'm mad about gardens, though to look at mine you'd never believe it. My back garden's about 60 feet by 30 and the front about 25 by 30 but split by a driveway. I grow flowers, shrubs, fruit and veg but this year I've been very short of time and the back is currently heading rapidly back to nature, though consequently it's given me quite a good crop of wild blackberries. I'm just finishing glazing the 14 x 8 greenhouse but have still got to do the inside and I'm looking forward to growing some unusual stuff next year,such as melons and squashes. I'm also going to try a cutting garden to produce flowers for my daughter's wedding next spring. My soil is very clay - we're closer to the flood plain than the chalky downs - and just on the acid side of neutral. Looking forward to chatting with you soon.
