snow time

I wish we didn't have it ... although having said that, it isn't as bad here as in some places.

It got very, very nasty here last night - this area was cut off, and the A39 (3 miles up the lane) with abandoned cars was on the BBC news at lunch time. Someone told me it was the worst snow here for well over 30 years, and I believe it - we don't normally get more than a couple of centimetres.

Our electricity went off for 8 hours. :-(
