Blowing really strongly here and rain with it.
Heard on the news that all trains north of the border have been cancelled, with winds recorded at 114 miles per hour.
So far no real damage. Stay safe everyone :0

Very windy here too - there was a fair bit of snow as I was sorting a few things that had blown around the garden. It melted as the afternoon went on.

We've been lucky here so far - strong winds this morning but not at danger level. Its calm now. Its worrying for the poor people on the east coast who have had to be evacuated.

It hasn't been too bad here. North Wales have had it much worse than here ... and parts of England and Scotland too :(

The wind came through here in the early hours of the morning; minimal damage in our garden but much worse in areas south of Perth.
A few years ago the joke used to be that the trains couldn't run because of 'leaves on the line'. They topped that today with 'trampoline on the line!', plus straw bales, garden sheds trees etc.
The whole of the Scottish railway system came to a halt at half-past-nine this morning, probably a first. Actually I admire the way that the authorities did this. With all the debris being reported across the country every train driver was radioed to stop at the next available station and passengers were assisted to get taxis or taken to hotels for their own safety.

Wild and windy here, parts of Rutland lost power earlier but believe its back now and a doubledecker has blown over near Crowland very close to the river, luckily it was on the way to collect the schoolkids, the driver is ok, doesn't bear thinking about the consequences if he'd already picked up the kids....

Bulba - as opposed to SouthWest Trains here in balmy Berkshire. Half an inch of snow and the trains stop running and s*d the passengers
