You certainly have this down to a fine art Erkabobby. You do deserve to have the lovely show of flowers when you work so hard to care for them. I did not realise that you get winters like this. Is this normal winter weather for you or has it been worse this year. Do you need to be careful that you do not get indiscriminate cross fertilisation by bees or do you just save the seed, sow it and find ones you like. When you are trying to improve a hybrid or develop one do you hand pollinate them. Oh dear I am asking so many questions I think you will need to do another blog. PS your leeks look great too.

You have certainly protected them, looking forward to seeing them in bloom when you reap your rewards......

Looking forward to seeing these Erka, hope all your hard work pays off. Do you show them at any shows?
