Eurovision weekend

Yes its that time of year again – and yes we are watching it – but we’ve earned our rest as we have been out in the garden – despite the blustery winds. Most of the Cannas are in and we’ve discovered two new baby Tetrapanax papirifera Rex’s that have sprung up far away from the original. Echium pininana’s have self seeded this year so about 40 new babies to look after.
Last winter was horrid but walking around it seems that at least 90% have survived including the Musa Bajoos which didnt get wrapped (I’m a bad boy). Ensete ventricosum is beginning to look splendid except of course leaves are a bit shredded.
Well happy gardening.
