Hi I got my half sized allotment last September. I've always been interested in gardening but not really had the time to grow veg until now. My garden is a wild place and not conducive to growing food plus the dogs(acquired this year) whizz round like mad and would destroy everything. So the allotment is a haven of peace and the other people thre are great - really helpful. It's been hard work and there is masses to do. I've learned alot but only a fraction. I'm trying to be organic. There is this v important pumpkin growing competition and things are going well! Haven't tried beer yet. Am hoping to learn more from members on this site...
