i just bought a forclosure after a 3 year home search in the lovley Sam Houston National Forest just north of Houston. I had a lot of clean up in the yard due to the after effects of IKE and had several tall pines taken out due to the nature of hurricane winds and damage . it was a big job with a lot to burn but well worth it. After fiximg my fence i just planted Mandyville vines along the lenght of my backyard. Vines are my all time favorite.
I raise Chameleons so i must be careful as to what i plant for their safety.
I started a compost pile that is thriving and like Hibiscus and ficus.
