Galaxybabe's Profile

I've written articles for the BBC for 11 years. My writing covers many topics, including places I've visited and my home town. I'm an amateur astronomer and write a monthly astronomy column. I'm a mother of four and grandmother of 3 boys. I have a cat called Goldie and I share dog walks with my partner Gordon and his Jack Russell terrier called Snoopy. We take Snoopy to 4 Residential Homes a week as volunteers for Pets As Therapy, which we also fundraise for. We (without Snoopy) also give talks on animal welfare and care of pets for the Blue Cross in schools, childrens clubs etc.
