I live in Hungary now where the weathers far better for gardeners. I have 2 dogs and lots of moles which drive me potty the moles not the dogs.The winters are short and very cold but come the end of March its gone and Spring is here. I have a vegetable garden and I grow lots of fruit trees including Peach Necterine Apricots Plum etc. Im trying Almonds at the moment and have managed to get them thro their first winter hopefully this next one too as they are covered in flower buds.I also have dozens of old fashioned roses shrubs and perennials. In the summer which is very hot I start my gardening at 6am but by 11am its too hot so I come in till 7pm and stay out till its dark. I wish it didnt get dark!
