Species: Berberis frikartii 'Amstelveen'.
Bought August 2008 from Wisley. Planted near to back window. Very spiny evergreen dwarf shrub with yellow flowers - I rarely wear gloves when gardening but it's genuinely worth it for this one - for a small plant it's well-armoured. And that's exactly why it's been planted in that position, since the back window has signs of being forced in the past...
