Angel Trumpet
Genus: Brugmansia.
Species: Brugmansia arborea.
Purchased from Lowe's and planted near the east backywall on the side of the house November 2006. They are frost tender to marginally frost hardy. They prefer a warm to hot climate, a sunny, sheltered site and light, fertile, well-drained soil. Angel trumpets are root-hardy (freeze to the ground most years but sprout again from the roots in the spring). I believe I have met all the requirements to grow a happy and healthy plant.
