Hepatica, Round-lobed
Genus: Hepatica.
Species: Hepatica americana.
Also called Liverleaf. This is a native spring wildflower here in Ohio and one of the first spring wildflowers to bloom. We have several colonies of it growing in our woods and I have a few growiing in my yard. I've seen it in all different colors from white to pinks, lavender, purple and light blue.
