Gardengnome's Garden
Tuberose
Genus: Polianthes.
Species: Polianthes tuberosa.
Planted several bulbs up front Most removed by the neighborhood gopher. The three that remain are beautiful when blooming, and they smell really nice with a heady scent. The white flower spikes bloom in late summer. In mild climates, after bulbs flower they split into small divisions and won't bloom the next year, but will the second year. As bulbs multiply, you'll get blooms year after year. Divide clumps every 4 years.
