Fritillaria Imperialis
Genus: Fritillaria.
Species: Fritillaria Ruba Massima (crown imperialis).
Last Autumn (2008) I brought 3 orange ones from www.thompson-morgan.com
but I am planning to add some yellow ones too (maybe one day).

They will naturalize if left undisturbed in well drained soil.
I feed them with my own comfrey & nettle liquid + seaweed and neem oil.
pests: lily beetle (I will make a friendly insecticide with Neem oil)
Autumn 09 I moved them and this Spring (2010) they made a lot of shots and leaves but only 2 flowers.
