Genus: Wisteria.
Species: Wisteria sinensis.
July 09 - Today we bought a big plant from the Garden centre near by.
Are we going to enjoy this vigorous, deciduous climber with mid-green, pinnate leaves, racemes of fragrant, blue-purple flowers in late spring and early summer and hairy, green seed pods in autumn?
We have not been lucky with Wisterias really, maybe they don't like the position, this is the third last try, if this time this one doesn't succide I am afraid we have to give up and not have wonderful lilac grapes of wisteria flowers hanging on the front window.
