Moth orchid
Genus: Phalaenopsis.

This delightful orchid was a house warming gift in May 08. It lives on my kitchen windowsill where it seems very happy. It has given me two beautiful flower spikes of 8 and 9 flowers respectively. When they died I thought that was it, but a few months later it popped out two more spikes when I wasn't looking! I'm now having trouble coaxing them upright so I've attached little slings to them and the old supports in the hope that this will stop them growing downwards anymore.
