Helenium
This photo of my yellow helenium also shows
Persicaria virginiana var. filiformis which I bought this year at a nursery on the outskirts of Penzance in Cornwall.
I think it fits in very well with ordinary perennials esp with a hot colour theme. My hot border also has knifophia, different coloured helenium, crocosmia, potentilla, asters, hemerocallis and annuals.
