Acer griseum
Genus: Acer.
Species: Acer griseum.
Brown-cinnamon color exfoliating bark, yellowish-green summer foliage. Beautiful in fall, usually a bright red color but have also seen yellow and orange. Only gets to about 20 feet where I live but could probably reach 30 feet or more. Looks nice planted with oakleaf hydrangea, fothergilla or other shrubs that are colorful in fall.
