I love gardening, landscaping and growing plants. I went to school for Horticulture and now work for as a grower for a wholesale nursery. I've always enjoyed talking with people and sharing experiences with landscaping or gardening so I thought it would be fun to join this site. I thought this would be a great way to get new ideas and chat with people who love this stuff as much as I do.
My favorite plant is daphne and I have a nice collection started. They are fragrant, flower for a long time and the variegated ones are always eye-catching. They can be challenging and difficult to find but it's nice to have a yard full of unique plants. I'm also interested in plants that provide winter interest. Winter is long here so I enjoy having plants that look good year-round.
