Cohosh, Giant Blue
Species: Caulophyllum giganteum.
I've had Blue Cohosh and Giant Blue Cohosh growing in my back woods and just now realized that they were different species. At least I'm pretty sure they're different, mainly by the flower color. Giant Blue Cohosh has a mostly purple flower and is supposed to bloom about 2 weeks earlier then the regular Blue Cohosh. I really can't find much information on the Giant, but I'll keep trying.
