'Elegans' is a tall, erect perennial with ternate foliage and, from late summer to autumn, bowl-shaped, light pink flowers to 7cm across, with broad outer petals, and narrow inner ones.
Full sun / partial shade.
Herbaceous perennial with a suckering habit. Hardy.
Will grow in any garden soil but avoid excessive winter wet, dislikes being moved around. Can spread rapidly once established.
Ultimate height: 1-1.5m.
Ultimate spread: 0.5-1m.
Pruning: Cut back in late autumn.
Propagate by division in early spring or autumn, or by root cuttings.
