Genus: Hamamelis.
Species: Hamamelis vernalis.
Spring flowering witch hazel with yellow flowers and yellow fall color. I have never been impressed with this one, I like the foliage on Hamamelis x intermedia much better. Fall color on this has always been dull, leaves never look nice and has never flowered well for me.
