Species: Hamamelis virginiana.
Fall flowering witch hazel with lightly fragrant flowers and pretty yellow fall color. I like this witch hazel and have seen it often in the woods in Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut. All of mine are from seedlings I dug in the woods near my house.
