Genus: Asimina.
Species: Asimina triloba.
HOST plant for Zebra Swallowtails. We're lucky to have a large Pawpaw patch in the back yard and also several around the edges of the yard. Fruit needs to be very ripe before eating. Taste is like that of a very strong banana mixed with.......something. I don't care for them but the wildlife love them.
