A very useful little tree this cotoneaster is grafted onto a clear stem so that the long branches can weep down. Being semi-evergreen means that only in very harsh winters will this small tree loose its foliage. Leaves are small and dark green with pretty white margins. After white flowers in June-July a mass of orange/red berries are produced in the autumn that are really eye-catching. This weeping tree will grow to just 1.5 x 1 meters in 20 years and so is ideal for small spaces or container growing. A tough tree ‘Juliette’ will tolerate exposed and coastal positions as long as it has well drained soil and sun or semi-shade. A very lovely, pretty tree for difficult positions.
