A hardy herbaceous or deciduous Primula which produces long slightly scalloped mid green leaves with prominent veins and midrib. The flowers are borne on rigid stems which rise from the centre of each rosette. Flowers can be very numerous and are held in whorls up each stem. Each flower is funnel shaped,with the outer part of the petals reflexing back hard. A fabulous species for the garden.
