Species: Pleione.
I bought 5 pleione bulbs at the early bulb day in Dunblane. This is the first flower. I grew all five in the same pot and kept them in a compost bin with the lid on until 2 weeks ago. When I saw the first flower starting to emerge from the compost I took off the lid and let it get rained on and it got some sun. I am so pleased with it.
