I did not write the name on the bag when I bought these so cannot tell you which one it is. There are 5 bulbs in the pot so I am hoping there will be a few more flowers.

I always imagined these would be difficult but I plucked up the courage to have a go and I am so happy I did. I should have taken a note of the name because there are different ways of caring for them but I am very happy with these. I'll expect you to turn up at the next bulb day in Dunblane. Looks like you are getting hooked. This one has only got a 2" stem and those flowers are poking through the compost so should be out soon.

Gorgeous flower, they look very delicate.

Like many hardy orchids they are pretty tough Louisa. They prefer not to get wet from above but that is it.

It's really pretty, definitely a pleione, bampy may well know what it's name is. He grows lots of them

I'm sorry I have not had time to ask Bampy about the name. I just had a look at a blog he did saying he had planted 1000 bulbs. I am in awe of that achievement.

I planted about 300+, but only around 100 are showing results.
To think that two months ago I was afraid that nothing would show & here's me moaning! Lol.

I saw a few at SRGC and decided they're another of my new favourites.
