I've wanted this plant for ages, small piece very kindly sent to me by Sue from Gardeners Corner potted on in greenhouse till it gets a little bigger.
Lovely japanese native woodland perennial for moist lime free soil with leaf mould, 24-48inch tall, depending on moisture of soil, yellow wax bell flowers 1-1/2inch long late summer to early autumn and arching purple reddish stems, hardy throughout the british isles.
