Hosta Christmas Candy
Hosta ’Christmas Candy’ is a recent introduction from Holland. Originally it came from Hosta 'Night Before Christmas' mutation- but the clump is slightly smaller and the leaf edges are a darker green. The most important difference, however, is that the solid white center does not fade all growing season. At maturity, expect a wide clump of dramatic bright creamy white leaves surrounded by a dark green border. In midsummer, the clumps are topped with light lavender Hosta 'Fortunei'-type flowers.
