Elleme's Garden
Sedum spathulifolium
Genus: Sedum.
Species: Sedum spathulifolium.
I think this came from my mother who has some of it in her garden. I have it in a low rectangular planter and planted in very shallow earth over the cobblestones in my front garden. It seems to have increased and survived there well so far, but it's only been about 6 months so I'll see.
I am also experimenting with having it in between paving stones in the garden where there is a border on one side and grass on the other as I was getting sick to death of mowing the smallish gaps. They have filled out well in the middle but look a bit depleted on the grass side, whether due to shading out or competition.
