Ajuga reptans

Species: Ajuga reptans.
I have the species, bought from the London Wildlife Trust gardens East Dulwich. It was for ground cover for the tricky dry shade end of my garden. I have found it invasive, and I'm tolerant of quite a few plants which are considered thugs. It certainly has its place in the difficult spot where I have planted it, but on reflection I wish I'd bought a purple leaved cultivar.
