Genus: Vinca.
Species: Vinca major.
Variegated form. It tip-roots so can spread, but I haven't found it difficult to pull up newly rooted sections and you can hack it back every so often. It is one of those plants that has a somewhat thuggish reputation - the pure green V. major is more vigorous - but I guess that depends where it's planted. When it was in good soil I needed to keep it in bounds much more regularly, but in shady heavy clay soil I find it a very useful plant.
